Check basic contribution milestones
This tool projects paid contributions to age 66 from the figures you enter. It checks whether the record could reach the general minimum of 520 paid contributions and whether insurance began before age 56.
What to enter
- Your current age.
- Paid full-rate contributions shown on your Contribution Statement.
- Your age when you first entered insurable employment.
- The number of paid contributions expected for each future year.
What the result cannot confirm
Only the Department of Social Protection can determine entitlement. Contribution classes, foreign social insurance, self-employment, caring periods, credited contributions, gaps, deferred access and changes before age 66 require a complete record. The State Pension Non-Contributory is means tested and is outside this calculator.
