Estimate MyFutureFund contributions
MyFutureFund contributions began in January 2026. Eligible employees contribute from gross pay, the employer matches that contribution and the State provides a top-up. Contributions are calculated on earnings up to the scheme limit.
| Years | Employee | Employer | State top-up |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026–2028 | 1.5% | 1.5% | 0.5% |
| 2029–2031 | 3% | 3% | 1% |
| 2032–2034 | 4.5% | 4.5% | 1.5% |
| 2035 onward | 6% | 6% | 2% |
Who is automatically enrolled?
The core eligibility check covers employees aged 23 to 59 earning at least €20,000 a year who are not already contributing through payroll to a qualifying supplementary retirement arrangement for that employment. NAERSA makes the formal eligibility decision, including cases involving several employments or changing pay.
How the projection works
The calculator holds salary flat, applies the statutory contribution phase for each projected year, caps salary at €80,000 and applies the gross return you select at the end of each year. The projected account is not a benefit quotation and does not model opt-outs, refunds, pauses, charges, salary growth, investment strategy changes or tax.
